Winning the toss and electing to bat first India put big target of 285 for Bangladesh with the help of Gambhir's second ODI hundred. Loosing wickets at regular interval Bangladesh was never looking near India scoring rate. Piyush Chawla was playing for the first time in One Day International cricket for India took 3 wickets for 37. In the end Bangladesh fall short of 46 runs.
